Faculty and students at a Jesuit institution must understand, appreciate and honor the power of music, dance, spoken word and theatre; embodied knowledge; the transformative potential of collaborative and ensemble creation and expression; the dialogue and reflection that performance invites… and the many, dimensional ways that performance, its texts and its critical practices can make visible the invisible, challenge injustice, expand intercultural exchange and move participants.
